The widower hired Matthew Golden
to bring a lawsuit against a hospital and doctor. The victim, our client’s wife, went to the hospital emergency department with symptoms of a pulmonary embolism but was ignored and discharged; she died a few hours later at home from a pulmonary embolism.
After filing suit, extensive discovery revealed the hospital nurse and emergency room doctor had conspired to change the medical records in an attempt to cover up the misdiagnosis. A confidential settlement was reached with the doctor and the hospital.

The Defendant employee plugged the scissor lift into an outlet using an extension cord; to assure the extension cord would not come unplugged when moved, he tied the end of extension cord closest to a receptacle to a pipe and then tied the extension cord’s opposite end tot the scissor lift. The Defendant employee then moved the scissor lift with the extension cord attached. The extension cord wrapped around Plaintiff and dragged him through a wall causing Plaintiff severe and permanent injury. The case was confidentially settled.
